Texas Sheet Cake

Texas Sheet Cake

2 C. Sugar

2 C. Flour

½ tsp. Salt

1 C. Butter

4 Tbsp. Hershey’s Cocoa

1 C. Water

2 Eggs

1 C. Sour Cream

2 tsp. Baking Soda

Mix sugar, flour, and salt. Bring Butter, cocoa, and water to boil. Add to sugar mixture.

Mix well and add eggs, sour cream, and baking soda. Bake in jelly roll pan.  (10x15) at 375° for 20-22 minutes.  Frost shortly after it comes out from the oven.

Frosting:

½ C. Butter

4 Tbsp. Cocoa

6 Tbsp. Milk

1 pound of powdered sugar

1 tsp. Vanilla

1 C. Chopped Nuts

Frosting:  Bring butter, cocoa, and milk to a boil. Add the remaining ingredients.
