I started hearing about "Clean Eating" from a magazine I found called "Clean Eating". So I started reading about
it and loved the idea. They also talked about Tosca Reno's book called the "Eat Clean Diet". But they talked like it wasn't
a diet at all. It was a way of life! A healthy life style way to eat instead of a short term diet where you just gain the
weight back. That's exactly what I was looking for! I was so tired of trying to lose 10 or 20 pounds only to gain it back!
I knew it was easy to get it off, the hard part was keeping it off!
In 2008 I got Tosca Reno's book
"The Eat CLean Diet". I took it on vacation with me I started reading and finished clean eating on our vacation! Brian loves to eat healthy
too, so he loved the idea. As he drove I read him interesting paragraphs I came across. (We had a 8 hr. trip so it was easy
for me to sit there reading the entire time! Brian and I like taking our own food so I read enough ahead of vacation
to know what to pack in our coolers! And I actually started eating clean diet on vacation!! Instead of gaining 5 pounds on
vacation I lost 5 pounds on vacation and my first week of clean eating! :)
I figured if I did clean eating at least 60% of the time and was truly aware of it I would doing better than I was before.
I kept reading and studying diligently about clean eating. Somehow I knew it was the right way to make the changes I wanted!
Tosca Reno said, "Having a beautiful body is 80% nutrition, 10% exercise, and 10% genes."
I gradually made more and more changes in preparing foods until I was following 70%, 75%, 80%, 85%, 90%+ most of the
time! Since then I lost about 10 pounds and several inches.
I'm giving it my all! I'm going to reach my goals! I'm going to eat clean 90-100% of the time! I just went on a
sugar fast, no chemicals and no caffeine to detox! I love adding this my permanent life style.
The "Clean Eating" is all about making better choices. Eating clean is eating whole grains instead of white flour.
No sugar, eating 6 small servings of complex carbs and protein a day. Eating fruits, veggies, and lean meats. No
processed foods and no chemicals.
You'll noticed brighter eyes and better skin right away. You'll think clearer and feel better! And you'll lose extra
weight! I've noticed my body is getting more and more toned.
It's not as hard as you might think! I used to think about what I can't eat when I wanted to lose weight! Now I
think of what I can eat! Just start eating healthy! That's the best place to start. Read all the tips and Tosca's book or
a "Clean Eating" Magazine. You'll be amazed how fast you'll notice the difference. I hope you'll let me know how its going
