Sunsets Never Wait

Sunsets never wait!
Do you ever
sit and watch beautiful sunsets with your family? You can blink and before you know it they're gone. Life goes by so quickly!
Make the most of it!!
One time there
was a little boy that came inside and kept pulling at his mother's apron, trying to get her attention. She was
busy taking care of dinner dishes and cleaning up around the kitchen and didn't feel like being bothered right then.
Suddenly out of frustration to get her little boy to stop bothering her, she bent down to see what he wanted. He wanted
to take his mom out to show her the sunset. Frustrated, she threw down her towel and thought she would "get it over
with". How many interuptions did she have to put up with. She went out side and to her delightful suprise
it was the most beautiful sunset she ever saw. She realized that her little son wanted to share that moment with her. If she
would have waited another minute it would have been gone. Sunsets never wait. She swooped
her son in her arms and gave him a big hug. She cried, "Thanks for showing me that wonderful sunset!" He just
answered "God made it! Isn't it wonderful?" She realized that the important thing of the
moment wasn't the actual beautiful sunset, but the pleasure in seeing the boy's face at taking pleasure in what God
had made! They say and watched until the sun went into the darkness.
Are you missing out on a "Sunset" of
your life? Take time to keep the important things first! Because "sunsets never wait!"

God hath not promised
God hath not promised
Skies always blue,
Flower - strewn pathways
All our lives through;
God hath not promised
Sun without rain,
Joy without sorrow,
Peace without pain.
But God hath promised
Strength for the day,
Rest for the labor,
Light for the way.
Grace for the trials.
Help from above,
Unfailing sympathy
Undying love...

Amazing Grace
- Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
- That saved a wretch like me.
- I once was lost, but now am found,
- Was blind, but now I see.
- 'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
- And grace my fears relieved.
- How precious did that grace appear
- The hour I first believed.
- Through many dangers, toils and snares
- I have already come;
- 'Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far
- And grace will lead me home.
- The Lord has promised good to me
- His word my hope secures;
- He will my shield and portion be,
- As long as life endures.
- Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
- And mortal life shall cease,
- I shall possess within the veil,
- A life of joy and peace.
- James Newton
